At Local Global Cooling, we believe lasting environmental change starts right in our own communities.
By planting and protecting local, native trees, we’re helping to reforest the planet—one tree, one neighborhood at a time—with a vision for a cooler, cleaner, and more sustainable world.
Founded in 2018, Local Global Cooling is a nonprofit organization committed to education, environmental stewardship, and hands-on action. Our mission is to reconnect people with nature, promote green living, and inspire individuals to become caretakers of the Earth.
Through community-based reforestation and global outreach, we’re growing a movement that celebrates the vital role of nature in our lives—and the power each of us has to make a difference.
We are dedicated to educating the public on the effects of:
- Topography and how it relates to wind,
- Architectural design for cooling
- Site preparation for planting trees and maintaining healthy growth
We also provide scholarships to underprivileged children to attend summer camps to learn about how preserving, protecting, and promoting our natural green environment can affect local climate and weather conditions.
